How to Boost Your Next Workout: Gym Bag Essentials

All the essential things you need to pack in your gym bag to boost your workout! These products make me look forward to my workout every morning.

Believe Pre-Fuel

I absolutely LOVE this pre-workout. It doesn’t make me itchy or shaky and it gives me enough energy to keep me going through my workout! I’m very sensitive to pre-workout but this one has no negative effects on me, it’s amazing. I use it every single morning. Pre-workout is absolutely essential to get you going especially for an early morning workout. My favourite flavours are raspberry lemonade and cherry lime, they’re delicious!

Apple Watch

My Apple Watch completely improved my workouts and got me into a steady workout routine. I love knowing my step count and trying to hit 10,000 steps everyday. It really motivates you making sure you hit your goals and close your rings! Your Apple Watch can give you reminders to stand up if you haven’t in a while, so it will really keep you moving throughout your day. You can also add any of your friends that also have an Apple Watch so you can see their steps, goals, and you can keep each other motivated and on track! If you have been debating getting an Apple Watch, I would definitely recommend it, I am obsessed with mine.

Lululemon Leggings

Nothing beats these comfy leggings! I’ve tried other (less expensive) brands for leggings but nothing seems to match Lululemon leggings! They’re not see through whatsoever, so you don’t have to be self conscious doing workouts at the gym and they’re buttery soft and smooth! When you are working out you need to feel comfy and these leggings with ensure that!

Sports Bra (Canadian Link)

This sports bra has amazing support, and it is so comfy! It looks super cute with the crossed back and will go with any workout outfit! I have the black one to match with everything but I’m going to buy more colors as it’s the best sports bra I’ve owned. I’ve worn it a ton and washed it many, many times and it’s still in perfect condition. It’s amazing quality. It’s available on Amazon too which is a great bonus!

Nike shoes

Supportive, good quality workout shoes make a big difference! I had a cheaper brand before and my feet hurt so bad when doing cardio workouts. These ones have amazing support and make you want to workout and keep going! Invest in a good pair of workout shoes to avoid any unnecessary injuries and have better quality workouts.

Stanley Tumbler

Stanley Tumblers are so beautiful and they really keep your water cold all day long! I have the light pink one but they are all adorable and stylish. The 30 oz is the perfect size in my opinion and I love that they have a handle and fit in your cup holders. I would also recommend getting a straw cover like this cute one (Canadian link here) to prevent any bugs from getting in.

GOOD QUALITY EAR BUDS

A good pair of wireless headphones are absolutely essential for a good workout! Apple Airpods are popular for a reason, they have amazing sound and are so comfortable. I can’t workout without these! Apple Airpods battery lasts so long too, I only charge them every few weeks and I use them every single morning. My fiance loves the Beats Ear Buds as well, they are also amazing quality and will really boost your workout!

BNS PROTEIN CRISP PROTEIN BARS

These protein bars are perfect for an after-workout snack to refuel you. They are only about 190 calories with 20 grams of protein. My favourite flavours are the Vanilla Marshmellow and the S’mores, they are amazing. The texture is exactly like a rice krispy bar, so they do not have that weird protein texture that some protein bars have. I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a delicious protein bar!
