The Best Relaxing Night Time Routine For Self Care

Do you want to create a relaxing night routine involving lots of self care? Keep reading for habits and ideas on what to add to your night time routine to make it relaxing and comforting. This night time routine will have you feeling relaxed, comfortable, cozy, and at ease. It’s so important to have a night time routine specifically involving relaxation and self-care. Some days we need to take extra good care of ourselves and involve more self-care before we end the day.

do your in depth hair care ROUTINE

I always feel so refreshed and relaxed after I do my thorough hair care routine. I absolutely love those nights where I can take time to use all the best products and really take care of my hair.

In depth hair care routine:

  • Use a purple shampoo if you have light hair to take away any brassiness and brighten up your hair.
  • Take time shampooing your hair and really get your hair clean. Use a scalp massager to get it extra clean, this is also very relaxing.
  • Use your favourite hydrating hair mask to add softness to your hair and add some hydration.
  • Apply a moisturizing hair oil to your hair to feel extra luxurious and add some shine to your hair.
  • Use a silk scrunchie after to keep your hair out of your face. Silk scrunchies are so much better for your hair than regular pony tails as they are gentle and don’t tug on your hair.
USE YOUR FAVOURITE SKINCARE PRODUCTS

Use all the best skincare products that make you feel like a new person! Using good skincare products will really make you feel relaxed, hydrated, and comfortable. You will notice a huge difference waking up in the morning after using good skincare products at night. Your skin will feel soft and smooth and you will feel more at ease and comfortable.

Skincare products to feel relaxed:

  • Try out Jade rollers or Gua Sha to massage your face, this is so good for your skin and so relaxing. Follow a Youtube video and how to do this properly and learn about the benefits of Jade Rollers and Gua Sha.
  • Use a Hydrating facial serum to add some moisture and vitamins to your skin. You will so much better once your skin is dewy, plump, and hydrated.
  • Apply a thick moisturizer or face mask to really hydrate your skin and relax you. There is no better feeling than using a face mask and feeling it sinking into your skin and really moisturizing it.
  • Use Eye masks that de-puff your under eyes and relax you. There’s so many different kinds you can get that will benefit your skin, they are all very relaxing and soothing.

Put on your comfiest pajamas or lounge set and get nice and cozy! Get those slippers on, get under that heated blanket and relax in comfort. Putting on beautiful, satin pajamas will have you feeling so luxurious and ready to pamper yourself. Dim any bright lights and make your home feel more relaxed and comforting.

Do your favourite relaxing activity like watching a comfort show, listening to music, or reading a good book. Take some time to yourself and just simply unwind. It’s important to add a simple activity into your relaxing night routine to really allow yourself time to recharge and rest.

Deep breathing is absolutely life changing once you figure out what works for you. Try different breathing exercises and find one that truly relaxes and calms you. Add this to your relaxing night time routine to feel more serene and calm before you go to sleep. This will put your mind more at ease and relax any tension in your body.

write out tomorrow’s to do list

It will put your mind at ease if you write out a simple to do list for the next day. Jot down any tasks you need to complete for the next day to get them out of your mind and feel prepared for tomorrow. If you don’t do this your mind could be racing over night about everything you need to do the next day that you don’t want to forget about. Try writing it out at night to get it off your mind and make you feel more relaxed.
